A solo show written and performed by Zoë Geltman’s id exploring diarrhea, female self-degradation, and whether you picking a hard, red booger at the exact moment that another you takes a dump in a public restroom in a rehearsal space where you’re about to audition for a web series and try your hand at being a legit actor who like, does stuff, proves the existence of a higher being.
Zoë Geltman is an actor and a writer and a born and bred New Yorker. She has had the privilege of working with companies and artists such as Nellie Tinder, Clubbed Thumb, Ars Nova, Target Margin, William Burke, Mia Rovegno, New Georges and more. Her own work has been produced and developed at the Bushwick Starr, The Tank, The PIT, The Brick, Little Theater, Uncanny Valley, Catch and Dragon’s Egg Studio. She likes writing about as well as playing cyphers, frauds, impostors—those beings you can never pin down and define. She’s also interested in weird, oceanic creatures entering into the everyday. That meeting—between the fantastical and the mundane—is pretty much why she does art. www.zoegeltman.com.
